Surveys: Create & send PD, conference & member resource (Annual Financial ratios, bi-annual Salary Survey, annual conference & workshop feedback, annual shared resources, & Peer Group) Surveys via SurveyMonkey.Vendor Trade Show: Create bi-annual trade show at the Integrated Conference. Recruit vendors, set pricing, coordinate space, & over-see invoicing.Peer Groups: Lead monthly, quarterly, annual, or ad hoc meetings as needed by 12 Peer Groups via conference calls, email exchanges, workshops, & conferences. Answer member emails/questions daily & share AMIN information with new employees & Agency network members. Recruiting: Identify & vet potential AMIN member Agency's in the America's region.

As an Orono Council person, I will put the interests of Orono residents first and focus on what makes Orono such a special place to live and work. I will focus on fair, accessible, and strong leadership, maintain our sense of community, and preserve and protect our quality of life by strengthening our conservation efforts. I will be fiscally responsible to our citizens - by ensuring any projects we do offer a fair return to our taxpayers. I promise to make connections with neighboring communities to create synergy and identify efficiencies which in turn, may reduce the overall tax burden to our residents and businesses. As the Director of the Southshore Center, I have revitalized the community center developing intergenerational programs which have brought thousands of people in the community together over the past several years. At one point the Center was on the verge of being closed. As Director I have succeeded in transforming the space into a thriving City Center, which is nearly self sufficient. I offer a strong track record of local involvement and a detailed knowledge of the operations of government. As city recorder for Orono I witnessed the critical decisions of the city which attracted me to run for office. I know I will make a difference for the Orono community.As a successful entrepreneur and through my public sector experience I've seen the value of long term infrastructure and capital improvement planning. I will focus on long term infrastructure plans and work with staff departments to identify needed future capital improvements. I will be your voice to hold the city accountable to plan for these projects in advance to ensure we spend tax payer monies wisely. By utilizing my understanding and relationships with neighboring communities, I will seek out ways to create efficiencies in operations. I will not compromise on public safety, balancing job loss, and retaining the character which makes Orono great.

As proprietor of CRR (Community Rec Resources) I contracted with the City of Shorewood to provide the overall management, operation, and programming for the Southshore Community Center on behalf of the City and its partners. In addition to the Park Coordinator position I held with the City of Shorewood, my responsibilities as Director included 'branding' and 'repositioning' the Southshore Center within the South Lakes Area as a Community Center which offers programs for people of all ages.In an effort to maximize the use of space, I created a Priority Classification System, center budget, and new Fee Structure for renting facility space within the building based on an 'hourly' schedule to efficiently maximize the use of space. Finally, I nurtured groups of 'advisors' of all ages to promote the mission of the Center and share their ideas and program interests.

As the Park & Recreation Consultant service provider for the City of Shorewood, CRR/Community Rec Resources is responsible for; developing and implementing City park & recreation programming; providing a centralized resource between sports associations and staff; developing annual work plans and updating a long term Capital Improvement Plan/CIP; assisting the Commission in choosing park amenities which will provide design continuity elements; implementing the Comprehensive Park Master Plan; providing liaison service between the Park Commission, public works staff, support staff, and the City Council; and drawing up bid specifications, as well as, researching future park trends.
