Investor at National Grid Partners, the corporate venture capital arm of National Grid, one the world's largest electric & natural gas utilities. Responsible for sourcing, performing due diligence, negotiating and managing investments in energy transition and climate tech startups. Also manage NGP's LP investments in external venture capital funds, including deriving financial and strategic value via co-investments and portfolio company, business unit engagements.

The Kauffman Fellowship is a two-year executive education program that identifies and develops global leaders in VC while providing a structured curriculum, peer learning, executive coaching, and networking — all with a focus on giving back and one's responsibility as a leader in venture capital. With 700+ Fellows across 50+ countries, Kauffman Fellows is the largest network of VCs and innovation leaders in the world. Each year, the organization adds a new cohort of 60 accomplished Fellows who attend this two-year program part-time, while they are investing full time.

Led multidisciplinary team responsible for strategic research and consulting in power technology, environmental policy, and load forecasting. Authored original research, developed techno-economic models, conducted scenario analysis, led consulting, provided written and quantitative peer review, and interfaced extensively with clients. Entrusted by co-founder of Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) to build and manage what become one of two special programs at CERAWeek, the premier conference for global energy executives. Oversaw screening and recruiting of candidate companies, and marketing and execution of program that introduced promising early-stage ventures in energy to senior executives from large energy and equipment/service companies. Maintained database of over 300 candidates; cultivated relationships with startups, venture capital investors, incubators/accelerators, and universities; led selection committee comprised of internal technology experts. Grew program into mainstay of conference's technology track. Featured on PBS NewsHour and CNBC.

Championed research on federal environmental policy, solar PV, and demand-side energy efficiency.

Subject matter expert on EPA conventional pollutant policy. Analyzed policies and legal decisions, maintained database of emission control projects, developed forecasts of SO2 and NOx allowance prices.

Developed model of European light-duty vehicle fleet to determine the impact of efficiency improvements, alternative powertrain technologies, and fuel scenarios on future petroleum consumption and CO2 emissions.

Analyzed the infrastructure and compliance challenges with leading NOx emission control technology considered for use in future US and European heavy-duty diesel truck and bus engines.

Directed day-to-day financial, operational, legal, and HR issues for a boutique brand strategy and design firm. Developed proposals that helped win accounts with American Express and Milliken & Co.
