Master degree in material technology and machine construction at NTH/NTNU 2000. I have worked 4 years with structural/mechanical design, 7 years as a steel casting engineer and 7 years as a project manager in a mechanical workshop. In my previous job I was a senior mechanical engineer at Canrig Robotic, involved with designing a completely new auotomatic pipehandling robot using SolidWorks as my primary tool. In my current position, I work as a Mechanical PRE (Package Responsible Engineer) for mechanical equipment both for studies and execution. I am currently involved with 3 studies at Ula, Tambar and Valhall including equipment such as VSD driven pumps, compressors, separators, vessels, hydrocyclones, CFU’s, sampling station and more. I have 20+ years of experience in using a lot of different CAD systems and I have worked with FEM analysis (casting flow and solidification). As a project manager I have been involved in all activities from sales to delivery, including among other things, sales, purchase, fabrication, documentation, FAT. I am used to read and understand customer both technical and QA/HMS requirements/specs and are familiar with the usual standards valid for design and fabrication. I have a wide knowledge about welding and machining after working in a workshop for 7 years. I am familiar with the use of optical and mechanical measuring devices such as Metronor and Faro. I am used to work independent and systematic, and I like order and system. I have a great eye for details and I am very detailed in my work. I consider myself to be a bit creative, able to think outside the box and find solutions others may not find.
