“Not really an expert of anything, but knowing just enough about everything.”Always seeking to understand the bigger picture, but also not afraid to dive deep into the details and get my hands dirty.As an engineer by heart I feel at home solving complex problems, but I also feel uncomfortable when systems and processes kills creativity, ideas and solutions with rigidity.The red line through my career has always been to challenge status quo, and with a “let’s just go do it” kind of approach I jump straight into unexploited territory, armed with nothing but curiosity, enthusiasm, and dedication for making things work - even if they haven’t been done before. Personally I’m straight to the point, I listen more than I talk, and I have a deep self-insight. I communicate and collaborate naturally on all organizational levels and I meet people with an open, positive and empowering approach.During 15 years in the automotive industry I have worked in Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Strategy execution and Marketing, within both the Aftermarket and OEM industry. I will not take credit for any single achievements, but to highlight some of those that I am most proud of having taken part of, I’ll mention that…- During my time as Global Q.A. Manager, we drove down PPM x10 using APQP, 8D, and good, common customer service- During my time in Sales and Engineering we started up business with the company’s first major on-road OEM- In Marketing we have more than doubled our followers and global reach - As the Personal Assistant to the CEO I was part of driving a vey successful Strategy Execution framework- I prepared numerous comprehensive and customized market and competitor studies of both the global OEM industry and Aftermarket.My latest venture into the clean and green transportation matters is what I am most proud of though. The on-road transport industry is facing one of the biggest transformations since the internal combustion engine replaced horse carriers and steam engines. There are so many pathways to achieve significant decarbonization already today, but we see so many examples of politics and populism getting in the way. My most important mission is to fight ignorance and support the future of our planet by spreading knowledge and technical insight from the industry.Privately I am married and I love spending time with my 3 little girls, taking care of my garden and my (old) house, cooking… and when there is time: Riding motorcycle. And of course: I drive a hybrid 😁
