With over two decades of work experience in the nonprofit sector, I have developed core competencies in marketing communications, fundraising, and nonprofit management. My mission is to cultivate future leaders and to promote mental health through innovative strategies. I am a former Foundation President at Koz Foundation, a new organization that I helped establish and grow from the ground up.As the Foundation President, I managed the creation of the foundation from scratch, including all reporting and state and federal regulations. I also oversaw all aspects of the new office move, including finding and negotiating the lease agreement and construction. I set up all accounting and gift processing procedures, and established the foundation's vision, goals, and policies. Additionally, I leveraged my skills in marketing communications and fundraising to raise awareness and funds for the foundation's programs and initiatives. Prior to joining Koz Foundation, I was the Foundation Director at The Hersh Foundation for over eight years, where I managed all budgets, payments, reporting, and application management, as well as the social media and website updates for the foundation and the President's speaking engagements.
