Responsibilities include:Planning and delivering on-site training sessions for volunteers prior to and during the festival.Liaising with festival organisers and various local stakeholders in securing a pitch; employing negotiation skills to obtain certain benefits including a roaming presence at the festival, and food passes for volunteers. Developing key information documents for volunteers on the Love Syria campaign to better inform good campaigning practise and knowledge of the conflict.Employing both leadership skills and teamwork in managing a small group of volunteers over the course of a 3-day festival.Producing a detailed report and feedback in an attempt to measure the impact of the campaigning presence at Ramsbottom festival.

Delivering radio interviews (Wessex FM and URN) to raise awareness of on-campus events and the wider 'IF' campaign, developing key skills in verbal communication.
