Project success is the direct result of the dedicated efforts made by individuals contributing their skill with diligence and hard work - they symbolize collaborative efforts, collective knowledge and cooperation necessary to work through and overcome the challenges encountered along the way. I've managed high profile projects and projects that weren't; their scope has included inpatient and outpatient healthcare, higher education, commercial and industrial facilities, civil and infrastructure, and remediation projects for both the public and private sector. From my work experience in facilities management, plant operations and maintenance I know what's important to achieve end user satisfaction. I've represented the builder, I've represented the owner and I've known what it is to be the staff responsible for operations and maintenance long after we are gone.I love what I do and I have been a part of some wonderful projects, but more important to me are the relationships I've made along the way. When I look at one of my jobs, I see the people who built it - and I often miss them - well, most of them anyway.I take personal ownership and responsibility for my projects. Because of my determination (and stubbornness...and admittedly some orneriness) I've been called a bull dog more than once. Personally, I think I'm more like a poodle with a chew toy.
