Flatiron School created a new model for education. With rapid reskilling, graduates launch new careers in software engineering, UX/UI design, data science or cyber security. Students are armed with modern skills, an ability to learn rapidly and a feeling of purpose. I joined as a founding partner in 2014 with less than 10 employees. Multiple rounds of venture fundraising from CRV, Matrix and Thrive Capital. A sale to WeWork, 2 acquisitions of other companies. Rapid scale of organization to 650 people around the world. Countless lives changed for the better.

Led many new growth initiatives at GLG to extend, create new product offerings or penetrate new markets. Most recently designed, launched and sold peer-to-peer offering to Fortune 500 Chief Information Officers. (2010) Evaluated, designed and executed a marketing & partnership strategy for new corporate markets. Designed, launched and sold new product innovation for new corporate markets. (2008) Designed and led client research programs with politicians, lobbyists and influencers in Washington DC leading up to The Affordable Care Act. (2006) Designed & launched a new digital product that enabled industry professionals to blog. Sold as a new product into existing customer base. (2004) Launched a new practice area in Accounting & Financial Analysis, developed product offering and sold it as a cross-sale into existing customer base. Became a $1M+ book of business in first year.Constructed a model design for new innovation efforts within a mid-sized organization. Learned from many things that didn't work. Borrowed from the best of start-ups, lived in the reality of an enterprise.
