At Embark Music, I creatively assist the Founder in business operations and planning. We work extensively with developing and maintaining online marketing strategies, music distribution & music supervision. I also manage the financials using QuickBooks & prepare taxes annually. At Kare-n-Hair Salon, I ensured salon service and retail profitability and growth, utilizing my expertise in Aveda and Salon business. In less than one year I assisted in a successful transition to a computer POS system (Millennium) from a paper book, while incorporating a heavy focus on express spa business. This spa focus led to the design and building of our Zen Room, to accommodate the popular spa services. Much effort was put into training & coaching our Zen Room specialist on service standards & retail sales. I also created and executed in salon events & promotion, led our community outreach and marketing efforts and managed inventory/ordering & merchandising.My skill set expanded from the real world, to the digital world, embracing the need for online presence. I focused energies on creating the Kare-n-Hair website, social media sites, search engine optimization help us be found online, used Google Analytics and WebMaster Tools to research the market. On top of this, I maintained and updated the Kare-n-Hair custom website, social media sites and listings within online directories.

As a Salon Development Partner in the Los Angeles area, I worked with over 30 Salon/Spa Owners and Managers, from Manhattan Beach to Ventura, analyzing their retail and service business and implement growth strategies. Together, we created custom implementation plans using education, events, new processes/operations, guest care and marketing/advertising. My strong skills were in education, small or large groups, and coaching. I also have an esthetic eye for useful merchandising and inventory maintenance. Natural Oasis is a Concept/Lifestyle Aveda Day Spa and Salon in the Nashville area. Managing the first location proved to be such a success, Natural Oasis quickly expanded to be in three separate high end locations in the greater Nashville area.  In partner with the owner, I oversaw the daily functions and operations of all three locations and provided leadership, coaching and direction to all team members.  Other roles I encompassed were to lead monthly team meetings, inventory, ordering, event planning, marketing, interviewing, hiring and training all new employees, payroll preparation and processing with Quickbooks and all employee scheduling.
