At Kare-n-Hair Salon, I ensured salon service and retail profitability and growth, utilizing my expertise in Aveda and Salon business. In less than one year I assisted in a successful transition to a computer POS system (Millennium) from a paper book, while incorporating a heavy focus on express spa business. This spa focus led to the design and building of our Zen Room, to accommodate the popular spa services. Together, we created custom implementation plans using education, events, new processes/operations, guest care and marketing/advertising. My strong skills were in education, small or large groups, and coaching. I also have an esthetic eye for useful merchandising and inventory maintenance. Natural Oasis is a Concept/Lifestyle Aveda Day Spa and Salon in the Nashville area. Managing the first location proved to be such a success, Natural Oasis quickly expanded to be in three separate high end locations in the greater Nashville area. In partner with the owner, I oversaw the daily functions and operations of all three locations and provided leadership, coaching and direction to all team members. Other roles I encompassed were to lead monthly team meetings, inventory, ordering, event planning, marketing, interviewing, hiring and training all new employees, payroll preparation and processing with Quickbooks and all employee scheduling.
