Responsible for all external and internal corporate communications and sports PR strategies and efforts across Hollywood Park's 300-acre campus, including SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater and the mixed-use components (retail, office and residential). As the first marketing or communications hire, Mexia built the vision, strategy and objectives for the communications team that shaped the brand narrative and set the tone for creative storytelling across the sports and entertainment destination. She leads a strategic team that works across the world’s biggest events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, College Football Playoff National Championship in 2023, and FIFA World Cup ‘26 to name a few. Mexia focuses on creative storytelling and applies it across her work in media relations, business and community communications, brand reputation management, thought leadership, as well as executive, strategic and crisis communications. Additionally, she oversees communications and public relations for the LA Bowl Hosted By Gronk, a college bowl game, and is responsible for game day media operations and year-long communication strategies around the event.
