As Chairperson of my local Shade Tree Commission I have expanded our activities by partnering with numerous community and corporate groups, producing topical awareness communications and seeking and receiving grants which total over $144,000 to date. I also lead a team in integrating tree care and promoting awareness in town procedures, from updating the existing 'Protection of Tree' town ordinance to reflect the current environment to creating new town ordinances to establish objective criteria for future tree removal required remediation and invasive species.I consider myself a steward of our Earth and our Trees and this is very much reflected in the work that I do.

My career as a professional actress included performances in regional theatres, off-off Broadway, independent films, and radio.I was a member of Actors Equity Association and AFTRA (The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists which later merged with the Screen Actors Guild).
