Brought on board to support all propulsion machines and tooling used to manufacture engines for the Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, Starship, and Dragon spacecraft- Developed 3-D CAD models and drawings in Siemens NX for obsolete metallic parts and assemblies by reverse engineering components.- Utilized mechanical and electrical drawings and models to support machine maintenance, modifications, creation of preventative maintenance schedules, and spare part strategies.- Managed drivetrain upgrade on a custom mechanical engine lift to increase load capacity. Worked with designer to edit drawings, BOM, and ensure design for maintainability. Coordinated teams, created schedule and instructions based on the new design, ordered parts based on the Bill of Materials, and supervised disassembly, install and testing of the new drivetrain equipment. Project completed on schedule with no additional downtime.- Improved usability of a problematic automated tube cleaning line by conducting Root Cause Analysis and collaborating with a controls and automation expert on a PLC hardware, logic, and HMI upgrade. This resulted in an average machine failure reduction by 10 days.- Supported the purchase, reliability, and maintenance breakdowns of industrial machines including robotic TIG welders, electron beam welders, high vacuum systems, and furnaces. - Reported to production directors on flight critical machine work and failure analysis projects.
