At Central Joint Fire District, I am responsible for regularly attending training and events to maintain my working knowledge of firefighting skills as well as taking photographs for the department. I respond to incidents when able to assist my fellow firefighters on scene and document with pictures. I am in charge of maintaining the website with personnel and fleet information and photographs of recent happenings.

I started in June as a receptionist and quickly became trained to be a technician. I took the responsibility on full time in September and became certified in October.

As an intern at NWOPCP, I primarily worked under the bookkeeper/office manager to learn about managing an office, human resource conflict resolution, keeping the books (allocating costs, paying and keep track of bills, managing expenses). Occasionally I helped answer phones in the call center as well as checking patients in and out from their appointments.

As a style adviser my responsibilities included greeting customers and helping them shop by assisting in finding sizes, starting fitting rooms and suggesting apparel to compliment their chosen garments. I also was a cashier, unpacked new shipment, and straightened the store throughout my shift.

As an intern, I worked under two full time licensed athletic trainers. During my team I was able to work women's soccer and men's wrestling teams. Some of my responsibilities included getting ice and water bottles ready to take to practice, help other student athletic trainers by allowing them to practice their studies on me, assisting the athletic trainers during practices and games, learning to log and update injuries in the computer system, and asking questions to learn as much as possible.
