Advocacy effort led to the adoption of 32 state laws consistent with AMA telemedicine policy and 15 state laws based on AMA model legislation. - Created the AMA Health Workforce Mapper, the only public, interactive map of all US health professionals and hospitals, patient health characteristics, and geographic factors impacting access to care (ama-assn.org/go/healthworkforcemapper).

Provided legislative tracking, analysis, advocacy strategy, and consultation on state legislative and regulatory affairs issues including Medicaid/CHIP, access to care, child health financing, medical home, health information technology, and health reform implementation.

Assisted the Director of Ethics Policy, the AMA Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs (CEJA), and the Ethics Standards Group in analyzing trends in medical ethics and the law. Analyzed ethics policy and state and federal laws that affect physician conduct. Drafted ethics reports and policy for the AMA's Code of Medical Ethics.
