Serve as the President / CEO for the Spectra Credit Union.

Currently serve as the Executive Vice President at NRL Federal Credit Union. Oversee all functions within the credit union, including: Accounting, Finance, Lending, Collections, Operations, Card Services, Facilities, Technology, Human Resources, Retail Branches, Communications Center, and ecommerce.

Served as NRLFCU's Chief Operations Officer (COO) with responsibilities to include: Retail branch network, Consumer lending, Mortgage lending, Information technology, Facilities, Communications center, eCommerce and Marketing.

Served on the Executive Team representing the Credit Union’s business operations to include: Deposit Administration, Card Services, ATMs, IRA and Decedent Accounts, Check Processing, Business Intelligence, Project Management Office (PMO), Records Management, BSA, Physical Security, (and formerly, Risk Management, Fraud Mitigation, BSA, Compliance, Contracts, Logistics and Facilities -- these duties were transitioned to a new Chief Risk Officer in late 2015)o Supervise and direct a staff of 60 employees responsible for the daily business operations of the Credit Union. Responsible for employee growth, coaching, counseling and overall development.o Direct the strategy and profitability for all payment systems and building income.o Strategize new products, services and processes to enhance the member experience, improve efficiencies and create sustainable income growth.o Oversee all Credit Union facilities.o Direct the Enterprise Security and Physical Security functions, ensuring safety and preparedness for all employees, volunteers, members and visitors.Recent accomplishments include:o Implemented a Vendor Management system and related policy.o Implemented an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system. Developed Enterprise Risk Management policies, a board approved charter and started the first Risk Management Committee (RMCO) meetings for the Credit Union.o Implemented a Physical Security division.o Installed a new enterprise wide enterprise security systemo Participated in the overall strategic vision for the Credit Union in the areas of growth, sustainability, efficiency and service.o Conducted space planning analysis and subsequent renovation timelineso Implemented a Prepaid card payment program to include corporate and consumer gift cards and general purpose reloadable (GPR) cards.

Served as the first Vice President of Operations representing the many facets of the business operation for the Credit Union to include Business Intelligence, Project Management Office, Risk Management, Compliance, Fraud Mitigation, Facilities, Logistics, Deposit Administration, Card Services, Check Processing, ATMs and IRA and Decedent accounts.o Lead and managed the Credit Union’s first financial core processing system conversion. Served as the official project manager, managing various teams throughout the Credit Union to successfully convert our operating system. Serve as the main liaison between the Credit Union and all vendors related to the conversion. Successfully integrated over 30 ancillary systems into the new core operating system. Managed member and employee communications throughout the process. o Adhered to the standards of the Project Management Institute and created a Project Management Office (PMO). Formalized project execution and created a change management process to include the implementation of a formal Change Control Board. Staffed the PMO with qualified candidates and implemented policies and procedures to affect a project management culture within the Credit Union.o Created a Business Intelligence department to serve as the administrator for the newly installed database warehouse. Centralized all data needs to ensure the accuracy of the data. Instituted a series of dashboards for all levels of the organization, from the Board of Directors and Executive Management to Branch and Lending Management.o Reviewed all Credit Union procedures for efficiency enhancements. Implemented a number of improvements, saving the Credit Union both time and money.

Served as the leader for the Credit Union’s branch and call center network. The primary mission was to ensure exceptional experiences for all member interactions. o Managed over 100 employees for the six branches and call center serving our members.o Identified and resolved inefficiencies in branch processing. Guided management team in resolution and problem identification.o Coached, counseled and mentored 7 managers.o Ensured regulatory and policy compliance.o Conducted branch analysis for transaction volume and recommend changes to branch hours.

Served as the Controller for the Credit Union, managing the financial accounting and reporting systems as well as a number of business operation functions to include Check Processing, ATMs, and IRAs.o Developed and maintained all financial reporting.o Responsible for profitability and cash flow analysis.o Managed lines of credito Responsible for all tax and regulatory reportingo Served as the liaison between the Credit Union and regulators (NCUA) and external auditors.o Supervised a staff of 50 accounting and operations employees.o Participated in strategic planning sessions, including expense forecasting, budgeting and cash management / investment strategies.

Served as the Controller for the Credit Union, along with many business operation functions. o Responsible for managing all financial and accounting functions. o Developed and maintained all financial reporting.o Responsible for consolidating all subsidiary financials.o Initiated strategies to ensure the integrity of the financial systems.o Ensured compliance with GAAP, FASB, NCUA, IRS, Department of Education, Federal Reserve, US Census, MACHA, Visa and MasterCard.o Orchestrated the budget process with all department and senior managers concluding in the presentation of a final budget approved by the CEO and Board of Directors.
