Including and not limited to purchasing of new equipment with sole source justifications, designing lab space for furniture and conditions, pilots and calibrations on new equipment and IACUC SOP generation, statistical analysis, IT uploading, publication• Proficient in necropsy, whole body perfusions for LacZ staining (whole mount or frozen sectioned), RNA tissue collection, tissue preservation and banking, blood collection and analysis of results • Colony management, production of heterozygous and homozygous strains for post doctorial research

• Assist and perform In Vivo GLP-like murine studies for internal and external clients. Responsible for study preparation, performing technical procedures, formulation and administion of candidate therapeutics, recording information accurately into laboratory notebooks.• Proficient with mouse handling, dosing (IP, ICI, PO, SC and IV), blood collection (cardiac, retro-orbital, tail tip and submandibular), clinical observations, live-animal imaging and complete necropsy; tissue harvesting for molecular and histopathological analysis; • Proficient in Oncology procedures including subcutaneous implantation of tumor cells, data acquisition with electronic calipers for tumor measurements and tumor harvesting. • Manage animal rooms each with a 5000 mouse capacity including husbandry and colony management.• Act as liaison with other departments including Quality Assurance, Faculty Operations, EHS, and Lab Supply.• Responsible for Environmental Monitoring and Sentinel Monitoring for the entire 16500 sq ft animal facility.• Write new SOPs as assigned. Assist with administration and implementation of new/revised SOPs, maintain the Controlled Documents review schedule.• Responsible for supply management and purchasing including supply warehouse creation. Development of supply purchasing through Oracle interdepartmentally with company financial analyst, based on my selection of items.

• GLP processing of human blood “whole blood” including: Separating red bloods cell from plasma and leukoreduction to remove white blood cells.• Sampling for testing of bacterial detection of platelets, HLA screening, red cell antibody identification, and disease or contamination.
