My career in environmental sciences started when I joined a laboratory as an administrative assistant. This position offered me a peak in the environmental science field and the operations of a laboratory. With this experience, I became intrigued by laboratory techniques, analytical processes, and the implementation of quality control practices. This interest evolved into a drive to move into a more hands-on laboratory role. I was given the opportunity to work in a position akin to an apprentice, serving as both a technician and an analyst. Through these experiences my ambition has been fueled to further advance my career within the laboratory setting.
