As a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and implant coordinator at Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Consultants (OMSC), I have over three years of experience in providing quality care to patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgery. I have earned certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS), and have developed skills in surgical assisting, medication administration, patient advocacy, and Microsoft Word. I recently have completed the MN board of Dentistry CEU for limited radiology & and trained in taking all forms of dental imaging. I help coordinate with our OMSC surgeons, patients, referring dentists & dental laboratories regarding dental implants. I assist the surgeon both in surgery and out to ensure that our patients needs are met. I help to provide patients with the information they need to make informed decisions and also help to educate them on the importance of oral hygiene and home care both pre and post-operative.
