After beginning as an employee of the Interactive Resource Center (IRC) in 2016, I am honored to be in my third year serving as the Executive Director. The IRC is an innovative resource center with a mission to end homelessness. I believe in the power of pulling community together for the greater good and finding ways to leverage community services, instead of duplicating them, to make meaningful change. I am deeply driven by my beliefs in human rights, and I am so fortunate to work with a non-profit that truly practices that mission. The IRC’s foundation of basic human rights and offering dignity to all people, regardless of their circumstances, is what keeps me coming to work each day.I also serve as a member of the Greensboro Minimum Housing Standards Commission and am a licensed Realtor. I have served on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Triad Chapter and was appointed to the Guilford County Board of Commissioners Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census Project. I have served as treasurer and campaign manager for a municipal City Council Campaign. Having worked with marginalized communities throughout my life, I am committed to providing dignity, support and a sense of community to those who need it most.
