Kristina “Tina” Boado is a GEDSI Specialist, Sociologist, and student of law that has been working in the field of gender and development, gender mainstreaming, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and intersectionality of gender with other vulnerabilities for the past eight years. Tina has extensive experience in designing and implementing initiatives and programs to promote diversity and inclusion. She has also contributed to the development of gender equality initiatives and policies in the Philippines by participating in dialogues and workshops alongside representatives from other civil society organizations prior to joining FHI 360.Tina has also worked in partnership with multiple NGOs and INGOs to support a diverse array of programs and projects focused on critical issues such as access to clean and safe domestic water, deteriorating human rights conditions in the Philippines and South Asia, climate change, armed conflict and religious polarization in the Bangsamoro, and addressing violence against women and LGBT individuals.
