• Worked with PDM developers and Materials Research (MR) team to create the new Raw Material Test List (RMTL) in PDM, which allowed a material to have a specific test list showing what tests need to be performed at each production stage according to that material’s exact performance and construction characteristics. Once implemented, I organized and maintained the RMTL library, , and maintained each specific test so it would maintain accuracy as changes were made to testing protocol.• Maintained the library of care and content codes, which are used to create the language that appears on garment hangtags. Managed new language translations, as needed, which included providing enough context to translators so that translations would be accurate.• Managed updates and distribution of the Raw Material Manual (RMM) to internal departments and external business partners. Maintaining the RMM included writing test methods, researching industry testing standards and updating as necessary, and maintaining accurate content related to company business practices. • Created SOPs, process flowcharts, and RACIs to describe processes related to materials testing such as for the UPF Random Testing program.• Managed operation of the materials testing laboratory. Ordered supplies, coordinated instrument calibrations, implemented process improvements, authored the Lab Testing Book how-to reference guide, implemented new instrumentation into the lab, and coordinated training.• Tracked all testing for UPF and RSL compliance to ensure raw materials were within acceptance criteria. Implemented new, more robust UPF testing process to minimize non-compliance.• Created and wrote the Lab Testing Book, a technical manual with step-by-step instructions for using the equipment within the Materials Testing lab, including creating a unique book format, photographs of instruments, and line drawings to help illustrate complicated steps.
