I copy and line edit pieces on politics, history, entertainment, food, and culture for Vox and Stacker. My work also involves light to complete fact checking.

I write about entertainment, culture, history, and more for outlets including Vulture, The Washington Post, and Mental Floss. I also contributed a bi-weekly column on classic film to JSTOR Daily.

In addition to my previous responsibilities as a Quality Reviewer, I assisted in training new hires, vetting job candidates, and coordinating special projects.

For Morningside, I edit English translations for grammar, clarity, and style, communicating with linguists to improve the text. I also review translations in other languages for formatting and completion.

As a senior editor, I contributed two stories per day to the website and wrote and built our newsletters. I also assisted in editing freelance contributions, and occasionally filled in for coworkers on social media duties. In the past, I also wrote scripts for our Facebook videos.

As the top editor for Distractify, I handled all daily assignments, approving or rejecting pitches from writers and assigning topics of my own. I also edited 3-5 stories per day for grammar, style, and accuracy, coordinating with our copy editor to pick up articles when she was unavailable. I created a style guide and updated it as new issues arose, holding meetings with our team to go over expectations. I also communicated with writers daily to answer questions on story angles, photo sourcing, and relevant information to include.

When I started as a staff writer for Thrillist, I was running our new daily news coverage. I pitched and blogged every national news story for the site, building the final text in the CMS and often publishing after receiving edits. My daily quota was a minimum 2-4 posts. Later, I transitioned into feature writing, where I averaged closer to one story per day. These required more intensive research and interviews.

This job required me to support the digital team in a number of ways: writing/producing content on the CMS, editing intern submissions, coordinating the "six pack" and "franchise" tools on emails across 22 editions, and managing traffic partner relationships with twice weekly link round-ups and email placement.

I had three major responsibilities at Maxim: managing our traffic partner relationships, writing editorial content, and coordinating the annual Hometown Hotties contest. The first component required me to update our partner widgets daily, compile a Best of the Web feature with partner links twice a week, monitor inbound and outbound traffic, and serve as our partners' primary contact. The second component involved building features on the CMS and pitching and writing articles. The third component required me to manage the almost year-long contest, working with our tech, legal, advertising, and editorial teams to execute strategy.

As a Nerve blogger, I wrote 1-3 posts per day (on three-day cycle) for the News blog on topics including politics, current events, music, television and movies.

Before becoming a regular blogger, I was a Nerve intern who contributed news content, wrote entertainment listicles, generated questions/prompts for Nerve dating site, conducted man-on-street interviews for departments like What Are You Listening To? and Tools of Attraction.

My responsibilities at this former website included writing articles, finding photos, updating the features archive, organizing back issues, pitching story ideas, and occasionally writing movie reviews.

As an intern, I spent 10 hours a week writing news briefs, movie and music reviews, and TV recaps. I started a column about comedy in the last couple weeks of my internship, which I continued for about five months. I then assumed the position of editor. As an editor, I edited news stories for style, grammar, and spelling. I also fact checked them.

Duties included writing for departments, doing research for editors, and administrative tasks such as scanning. I also helped maintain the record of jean donations; NG Kids broke the world record for most jeans recycled into insulation in 2009.
