I am an accomplished, goal-directed marketing and strategic communications leader who inspires a team of experts to execute internal and external campaigns that deliver measurable results. At MCTS, I oversee the agency's brand and reputation and provide executive-level strategic leadership to improve the customer experience (CX). My work brings positive change in how public transit is perceived among taxpayers and policymakers. I report directly to the President and Managing Director and support executive messaging with a focus on elevating the rider experience throughout the agency. In this role, I serve as the Public Information Officer as well as direct earned media, social media, customer communications, internal communications, advertising (to increase ridership and employee recruitment), the RideMCTS.com website, community outreach, partnerships, and promotions. I also direct two external advertising/PR agencies and the transit advertising sales company to generate revenue for MCTS.In my first year at MCTS, I led the executive team in mission, vision and values planning and have continued to be instrumental in developing the agency's annual goals and strategic plans. I also spearheaded the development of an employee intranet which delivers daily communications to our remote workforce.In 2023 and 2022, my team won coveted first place APTA Ad Wheel awards for our #SaveTheBus campaign, Human Trafficking Awareness ad and a highly successful Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) groundbreaking event attended by the Governor, Senator, Congresswoman, FTA, and numerous local politicians and business leaders.In 2023, I launched two new brands - the CONNECT bus rapid transit line and the WisGo fare collection system.
