CurrentAs a key operations lead in the art department for Electric Forest, I oversee festival production, including pre-show prep, on-site management, and post-show wrap-up. My role involves both logistical coordination and staff management to ensure smooth operations.Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary contact for staff, distributing all festival info and providing staff guidance.Develop and manage the production schedule and technical advance.Coordinate meetings and communication with festival staff.Set up Amazon and PEX accounts, establish purchasing protocols.Fulfill purchasing requests from vendors and performers.Coordinate staffing travel and advance for Forest vendors.Oversee the setup of the Forest production office and ensure equipment functionality.Manage office operations, including communications, printer, and internet.Supervise runners and ground transportation schedules.Assist the Event and Production Manager with logistics.Oversee festival petty cash (PCards) and reconcile floats.Communicate call times and manage staff attendance.Collect and organize receipts, assist with expense reporting.Track radio list, ensuring waivers are signed and radios returned.Distribute credentials to production and operations staff.Coordinate and advance catering, ensuring meal tickets and schedules.Handle incident reporting and follow-up.Manage PEX purchases, upload receipts, and tag expenses.Ensure availability of necessary printouts (schedules, maps).Track equipment check-ins/outs (radios, vehicles, golf carts).Document builds and final products through photos.Clean up and pack the production office after the event.Lead teardown and inventory management of the Forest Art Operations office.Submit all invoices and ensure PEX cards are up to date post-event.
