As the CEO and founder of the Power for All campaign, Kristina has helped create a movement dedicated to achieving universal energy access by 2025. Kristina coordinates a global team alongside country-led initiatives in East and West Africa and India to advance decentralized renewable energy solutions—ranging from minigrids to solar rooftop systems and mobile solar farms. A regular speaker and writer who has been appeared on diverse news outlets ranging from CNN and The New York Times to CNBC Africa and The Economic Times of India, Kristina was named Energy Foundation’s Senior Fellow in 2009, a finalist for both the Clean Energy Ministerial’s C3E award, a 2020 Africa Energy Elite for 2020 by ESI Africa and awareded the 2022 Real Leaders Eco Innovation Award. The author of several papers and thought pieces including Utilities 2.0: Reimaging Utilities as a Way to End Energy Poverty, Kristina is a long-serving member of the United Nations’ Technical Advisory Group for SDG7 and was appointed in 2021 to serve as part of the first-ever United Nations Food Systems Summit.
