Currently operating as a HR leader and strategic business partner to Barracuda Networks' global organization of over 1,000 employees. I am passionate about partnering with senior leadership and management in all functional areas to deeply understand where HR initiatives can align with the goals of each functional business unit to develop and meet overall corporate objectives. Key accountabilities include: Management of a team of 14 (generalist and recruiting staff), organizational development, performance management, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, training and development, improving employee engagement, analyzing HR metrics and trends, safety and worker's compensation management, and employee benefits.

As a HR Manager at Barracuda Networks I am responsible for the following:1) Administer compensation, benefits and performance management, as well as safety and recreation/ employee events and programs.2) In partnership with hiring managers, I am responsible for identifying strategic rationale for headcount additions or replacements. Responsible for writing/ copy editing job descriptions, recruiting, interviewing and selecting applicants.3) Responsible for management and coaching of eight team members; including HR generalists as well as recruiters.4) Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.5) Perform difficult staffing duties, including; refereeing disputes,terminations, and administering disciplinary procedures.6) Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity, sexual harassment, performance management, annual reviews, career mapping, and counseling employees. Responsible for recommending needed changes.

Partnering with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Finance,Sales Engineers, and Technical Support teams I am responsible for the following:*Answering all benefit and personnel related questions* Managing the onboarding process including; requistion creation, recruitment, compensation inquiries, offer letter creation and dissemination, new hire orientation, and partnering with hiring managers to facilitate smooth entry into Barracuda Networks* Partnering with human resources team to execute company events, including; company picnic, whitewater rafting, bike to work day, etc.* Responsible for career mapping and counseling, performance management, and training model implementation* Manage departments to ensure that 350 + employees are given quality, confidential, and timely customer service* Advise and maintain clear processes for the administration of workers compensation, retirement programs, unemployment claims, and support notices* Help assist in development and maintenance of company culture and organizational and employee morale
