I’m a relationship, sex, and trauma therapist helping both individuals and partners. I help individuals overcome sexual dysfunction and shame, especially stemming from religious purity culture and trauma. Beyond sexual concerns, I help my clients change dysfunctional patterns of relating, navigate challenges in consensual non-monogamy, and embrace joy, connection, ease, and authenticity in all aspects of their life and relationships. If sex, intimacy, or sexual performance are causing you distress or anxiety, I provide expert psychotherapeutic support, having completed intensive trainings at the Northwest Institute on Intimacy and Antioch University. I'm unique among sex therapists in that I have specialized expertise in Tantra-informed somatic techniques that can improve intimacy, comfort with your body, and sexual function. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming and kink-aware professional.I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) in my work. ART is a modality derived from EMDR that uses bilateral stimulation to promote emotional healing. It provides a fast, effective way to overcome memories of trauma and relieve symptoms from traumatic experiences (including PTSD, C-PTSD, and sexual trauma). ART has been shown to help people overcome phobias, anxiety, OCD, and other issues rooted in intrusive thoughts and negative beliefs. If you are troubled by distressing thoughts, emotional over-reactivity, hypervigilance, flashbacks, insomnia, or nightmares, call me to explore whether ART might help you.I've completed 250+ hours of training on psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) utilizing ketamine and psilocybin, through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI). I offer wraparound psychotherapeutic preparation and integration sessions to clients utilizing these substances to treat depression, PTSD, and other issues. I offer ART sessions during the window of enhanced neuroplasticity in the days following the psychedelic journey, which allows clients to take advantage of the mind’s adaptability during that time to create lasting emotional, cognitive, and somatic change. At the beginning of each quarter, the gallery opens to the public for a limited time, offering a rare opportunity to experience these provocative works outside of the private showings reserved for clients. Outside of this quarterly public showing, viewing the art at IntimaSpace is available to clients by appointment only.
