Specializing in outsourced controller/CFO services, I worked closely with executive management and financial staff to help them develop and improve their financial infrastructure in the following areas: cash flow management, month-end/year-end closings, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, audit preparation, internal controls, payroll and benefit administration, and staff supervision and training. I also have experience in the due diligence process, working closely with bankers to provide the relevant financial information to position companies for sale.

Working collaboratively with company executives, I prepared the annual budgets, implemented GAAP based monthly and annual close and financial statement review, prepared and presented weekly dashboard reports for effective cash flow management. I instituted regular physical inventory counts and control procedures to track the movement of materials to jobs. I oversaw accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract billing, payroll, employee benefits and managed the annual audit and tax return with outside preparers.

I prepared all billings in compliance with customer contracts, monthly revenue and deferred revenue schedules by customer under applicable revenue recognition guidance, payroll, benefits administration and coordinated the annual audit and tax return preparation.

I managed all finance areas including cash management, financial reporting and analysis, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, fixed assets, equity, sales commissions, revenue/deferred revenue, debt and debt compliance, including establishing all internal controls and implementing financial policies and procedures, reporting to the CEO and, once hired, CFO.
