As a Pathology Service Coordinator at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), I have been managing the daily operations of the digital pathology laboratory for over a year, ensuring the quality and timeliness of the services. I have a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology, where I graduated cum laude and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi.With more than 10 years of work experience in pathology, I have developed strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and leadership skills that enable me to support the team and the organization with my expertise and skills. I have also gained valuable experience in digital pathology and virtual microscopy, working as a technician at Wake Forest School of Medicine and a lab support at Wake Forest Baptist Health. My mission is to contribute to the advancement of pathology and health care, and to be a bridge where there are disconnects in the communication and organization. I am passionate about improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes and outcomes, and applying my psychology knowledge to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
