I am currently pursuing a Security Analyst position. I am currently transitioning careers and through hard-work and dedication I have developed the skills required to be an asset to the cyber security team.I have completed my cybersecurity training at Per Scholas and was the class valedictorian. Through this training, I have gained CompTia CySA+ certification. Although I am new to the field, I am technologically savvy and have been using different EMR systems throughout my physical therapy career as well as providing services remotely via telehealth. Problem solving has been a key part of my work as a healthcare professional. I have had to collaborate and problem solve with the patient, their family and other members of their care team to ensure the best outcomes for those under my care. I enjoy working in a team as well as individually. I have worked as an independent contractor since 2018. This has meant that I have had to essentially operate as my own small business. This has enhanced my organization and time management skills. I have worked as a freelance writer as well as an English second language teacher. These positions have provided me with strong communication, assessment and organizational skills. My teaching positions, physical therapy work and my passion for travel has exposed me to rich cultural diversity and given me the skills to relate to people from different backgrounds. My working history has given me a diverse set of skills. I am a proficient communicator and love working with people. I have many interests and am dedicated to life-long learning.
