-Manage all AR functions, including preparing deposits, coding receipts, preparing monthly journal entries, and reconciling cash receipt logs to the GL.-Prepare and distribute all Association invoices.-Manage all AP functions, including coding AP invoices / expense reports, preparing semi-monthly check runs and reconciliation of reports to the GL.-Prepare annual Forms for vendors.-Reconcile American Express statements and ensure receipt and approval of backup for all charges.-Maintain accounting files, including capital asset and depreciation and amortization schedules.-Prepare and file annual 1099s to applicable vendors-Maintain positive liaison between Association vendors, members, and internal staff.-Assist the CFO in developing and implementing financial practices and policies.-Support and serve as the CFO’s backup in providing timely and accurate financial reporting.-Assist the CFO in managing the annual budget development process and updating and implementing the Association’s 5-year Financial Plan.-Support the CFO in the management of the annual audit process and tax return preparation by preparing audit reconciliations and schedules.-Assist the CFO with a variety of administrative and financial tasks as assigned.-Direct and manage the finance-related workload of the Human Resources & Finance Assistant.
