Sr Human Capital Business Partner
CurrentI've seen a lot of changes in the 10 years I've been with the bank; First Michigan Bank/Talmer/Chemical/TCF and now Huntington. It has been phenomenal to be a part of a growing organization, and has made all of us proficient at Change Management, Adaptability, Collaboration, and Efficiency. With the recent merger with Huntington we become a top 10 Regional bank. My role as a Sr HCBP is strategically aligned with our Commercial Segment, including Government Banking and Treasury Management. As a Senior HC Business Partner I'm tasked with ensuring alignment between the business operations and the HR practices and objectives. I add value by fully understanding the business’s strategy, providing dynamic solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility to guide the Leaders' decision making. I provide consultation and coaching to departmental leaders and managers in order to support the business’s vision, mission, and overall objectives. Two of my key objectives are collaboration and analytics. I partner closely with the heads of the business departments and their leadership team to develop recruitment plans, identify training needs, advocate for continuous learning, as well as provide coaching and mentoring support where required. I also partner with stakeholders and other business partners (comp, talent acquisition, training, organizational effectiveness,)to ensure that the best practices are being adopted and that we have timely delivery of projects and meet the key deliverables. I support leaders through research, analysis on reports to ensure we meet our OKRs. I support the budgetary process, reviewing salaries, incentive pay, and providing support to leaders through recommendations to make adjustments for enhancing departmental performance.
