Using my love to science and education to share biotechnology tools and curriculum, so that they can instill that love of science in their students.

Subjects: Dual Enrollment Biology, Dual Enrollment Anatomy and Physiology, AP Biology, Honors Biology, Honors Physical Science, Honors 7th Grade Science Develop and implement course curriculum, implemented the outlined teaching plan, made adjustments to curriculum based on class needs.  Increase the laboratory exercises, to enable the students to better understand the material taught in the class.  Implement after school tutoring program and re-aligning curriculum to state common core standards and aspects of testing. Deliver engaging, coherent and motivating lectures to students across all key stages, utilizing technology in planning and delivering of lessons. Develop innovative and interactive class room and laboratory exercises to reinforce concepts covered in textbooks Prepare weekly lesson plans in accordance with the district guidelines and seek approval for any deviations. Work with school administrators to develop and update learning programs. Encourage students’ participation in the class by taking a hands on approach to teaching. Prepare periodic quizzes, practice tests and tests to test students’ proficiency. Evaluate the students’ class work and assignments, graded tests and reports and provided students with feedback within two days on their performance and improvements. Communicate with parents, students and the teaching administration on a regular basis. Attend and contribute to school meetings.  Lead the evening educational conservation programs for people of all ages. Educate the public on current environmental issues, and ways in which they can contribute to minimize environmental damage. Organize summer camps, create and implement innovative zoological camp curriculum. Trained to handle educational collection of animal ambassadors.

 In vitro studies of mitochondrial clearance in response to changes in Hsp90 and/or Cdc37 protein levels or function. In vivo studies of mitochondrial clearance in response to Hsp90/Cdc37 functional knockdown. In vivo studies of the effects of conditional essential autophagy gene knockdown. Collected blood samples from rodents and maintained bio-repository for all specimens collected. Presented weekly status reports to supervisors and peer groups. Coordinated, planned, and implemented Annual Postdoctoral Appreciation Events for two years. Awarded National Institutes of Health Loan Repayment Program
