The Learning Design Manager works in the Design and Development Center of Excellence and is responsible for design in multiple formats of Learning, working with project teams, outside vendors, and internal subject matter experts to develop content across a range of topics. Detailed Description - Lead discussions around performance needs of audience applying adult learning principles and design learning solutions to address these needs in collaboration with stakeholders to balance near-term needs with long-term strategic aspirations - Recommend design approaches and design interactions that support specific performance objectives and that are sustainable and repeatable innovations - Lead content collaboration with stakeholders, problem-solving to achieve performance objectives and resolve issues, risks, and quality challenges - Lead the creation of learning solutions using a variety of appropriate learning strategies including interactive instructor-led classroom learning, web-based and virtual classroom training, performance support, and workplace-based learning ensuring solutions meet quality and learning standards - Responsible for content at all stages of the design and development lifecycle, enforcing quality standards, and adhering to deadlines including vendor management - Lead project team’s understanding and application of learning development technologies.
