We provide results-driven therapies and related services to children with diverse needs, removing barriers to academic achievement and well-being. Thrive is steadfast in our commitment to serve traditionally marginalized populations, with a particular focus on the intersectionality of race and disability. We believe health and well-being are critical in establishing conditions for learning, and schools can’t do this work alone. We lock arms with mission-centered leaders, schools, and districts to deliver highly effective care and services driven by data and designed to get results in both the treatment and classroom settings. We’re an education organization with a singular focus - closing the equity gap.OrganizationIn 2023 Thrive disrupted the school-based healthcare and special education landscape through a novel model designed to solve the problems we experienced as education leaders: (a) escalating and unpredictable expenses for special education services, and (b) no actionable data to drive school and student results. As a result of our approach, Thrive has been tapped to serve education systems in five states, garnered the attention of national special education communities, and received the Entrepreneur Center Start-Up of the Year Award. STEM Preparatory Academy is dedicated to providing a rigorous, inquiry-based education with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our mission is to bolster the number of underrepresented students who successfully complete advanced-level secondary coursework and college degrees and enter the career pathways of the future. STEM Prep currently operates both a middle school and a high school in South Nashville. In August 2016, in partnership with Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, the STEM Prep Nashville Newcomer Academy will launch and educate new arrival students in the middle grades, ensuring both language acquisition and development, as well as social integration. Since its inception, STEM Prep has been recognized locally as a Nashville "Excelling School", Department of Education "Reward School", as well as received national and local awards to include Middle School Teacher of the Year, Community Advocate of the Year, Technology Educator of the Year, and Innovative School of the Year.
