• While maintaining responsibility for my primary role as manufacturing OLM, I was assigned this additional role in taking on responsibility for the Global Commercial eRouter landscapes for the South Africa region.
• Provide daily support of EDI and its environment, particularly the Gentran EDI management system and CLEO VLTrader communication system
• Communicate to the business new consumer IT services, ensuring buy-in and actual usage
• Effectively influence key stakeholders without line management control
• Commit to meeting customer requirements and expectations, taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution

• I rotated into this role to address a system used to house data related to refinery unit turnarounds and other downtime types. System was being upgraded from US-only to global functionality.
• Manage a team of four testers by coordinating schedules, facilitating testing efforts, receiving and providing feedback, and interfacing between testers and developers
• Maximize proper system functionality by identifying and resolving defects, writing and deploying test scripts, redeploying modified scripts, and testing fixes
• Train other trainers for Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Americas regions on system usage

• I moved into this role as part of a project team, with emphasis on the Downstream Collaboration Center of Excellence and Advisor/Pumperlog suite of applications.
• Create documentation and information tools to effectively assist users with their understanding and usage of collaboration tools

• I quickly progressed through three similar IT associate roles, including one in distribution application support, as part of continuing development within the organization.
• Help identify and assess connectivity issues between systems and unavailability of real-time data as cause of frequent failure in nightly processing (average of 4 out of 7 nights)
• Implement purging of data to reduce data load, and training of engineers and operators on efficient system usage, to reduce support calls from multiple times per week to zero or one
• Deliver classroom-style training to as many as 20 fleet drivers to instruct them on system functionality and appropriate system usage
