The Schools and Colleges Committee builds relationships with high schools, colleges, and universities; promotes the accounting career track and the CPA credential; recruits PICPA Student Affiliates; and promotes accounting scholarships. The committee is involved with the Education Symposium, student writing contests, collegiate competitions, college networking, high school shadowing programs, and local career fairs.Co-Chair May 2018 - December 2021

Emerging CPAs are active members of the PICPA who have been licensed CPAs for less than 10 years, candidates for admission, and accounting affiliates. We promote events, activities, and programs that are of interest to accounting professionals in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

The Careers and Lifestyle Committee provides a forum and the resources for PICPA members and affiliates to engage in an ongoing dialog regarding career planning, personal and professional development, and goal achievement.Co-Chair January 2018 - January 2019.

Was the first employee hired in this start up operation. Helped to build the team and structure company processes and procedures. Responsibilities included recruiting top financial personnel, from Staff through CFO level, and marketing our services to premier companies in the Philadelphia area.- Developed and maintained relationships with candidates and corporate clients. - Demonstrated a high degree of professionalism with all levels of internal and external clients.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned audit engagements, mentoring and coaching of staff.
