As an Investment Manager at Askar Capital, I was responsible for strategic and asset-level management of a 125,000 sqm portfolio of commercial real estate in Western Europe encompassing two office hubs, located in Ghent and Munich, as well as CIFA Center, a wholesale center comprising approximately 170 retail stores located near Paris. I served as managing director of the center. In this role, I conducted comprehensive financial analyses, developed budgets, and oversaw accounting practices to ensure fiscal responsibility and effective resource allocation. As strategic advisor to the investor I maintained restructuring negotiations with syndicate lender groups and discussions with potential buyers.During a challenging period following the banking crisis, I focused on maintaining the value of our assets and enhancing relationships with lenders and key stakeholders. My efforts contributed to the successful sale of several projects, which were finalized soon after my departure from the role, showcasing my ability to navigate complex situations and drive results.

From October 2004 to March 2006, I worked part-time as a Credit Cards Sales Consultant, where I enhanced my sales skills and was often the top sales person in the group. Subsequently, during my university holidays in 2005 and 2006, I served as a customer advisor during university holidays in 2005 and 2006. My responsibilities included home mortgage underwriting and advising clients on investments in mutual funds. In the fall of 2006, I transitioned to the Retail Banking Back Office, focusing on mortgage registration and accuracy testing while balancing my studies. These roles provided me with a solid foundation in banking operations, customer service, and financial product knowledge, which have been instrumental in my career development.
