About Kristo Droko
In 2019, I co-founded "The Certified Platinum Network", a digital multimedia collective that specializes in creating various forms of online content ranging from audio (podcasts), video (short films and online videos), and more. We consider ourselves pioneers in the digital broadcast scene in Western Canada when it comes to Hip-Hop/Rap and pop culture commentary of this kind. Our weekly podcast contains weekly analysis on happenings in the Canadian and American hip-hop/rap and pop culture scene, while our "For The Record" video series features insightful conversation from artists, producers, behind-the-scenes personnel, and many other creatives across the "GVRD" (Greater Vancouver Regional District). We give these individuals a platform to divulge knowledge on how they got to where they are and the battles they faced along the way, ultimately painting the picture to the story that led to their success. Along with co-creator and president of The Certified Platinum Network, I also direct programming and moderate content that is produced and developed by our collective. We consider ourselves "The COLDEST name in Canadian independent media".
