As a member of the 20th faction of Lijst Calimero, my responsibility is to represent student interests at the University of Groningen, in the University Council. I do this by campaigning for a more socially responsible university, which strives to prepare its students for the best possible future.

As a teaching assistant for the statistics course, I run practicals for first year students during the first semester. My responsibility is to make sure all students understand statistics material sufficiently, assist in case they don't, as well as correct homework assignments.

The Student Mentor position at the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences consists of teaching the Academic Skills course, as well as the practical portion of the Introduction to Research Methods course to first year students. Student mentors are also responsible for harboring learning communities among those students to facilitate their learning and ease the transition process into university.

Partij Studenten Belangen (PSB) is currently the largest sitting party in the Faculty Council of Behavioural and Social Sciences of the University of Groningen.

The Mental Health Buddy Project is a collaboration between the University of Groningen and the mental health care facility Lentis. Within it, psychology students who participate are each paired up with one service user at Lentis to provide companionship and aid with socialization and isolation.
