My journey in music began in childhood and has since been a constant source of growth and exploration. I self taught myself guitar and bass in my teenage years. This was formally reinforced by my educational pursuits in Jazz Studies at Hutchinson Community College and Friends University. In my current role as Lessons Manager at Guitar Center, I have honed my skills in program coordination, student engagement, and feedback analysis. I take pride in developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring the highest educational standards. My stint as a Guitar Technician at Phil Uhlik Music developed and expanded my expertise, where I have repaired and demoed a variety of instruments; bass, upright bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, violins, cellos, violas, and drums. My performance experience is extensive, having rehearsed with top bands at Friends University and participated in numerous gigs, including opening acts for renowned artists like Snoop Dogg, Gov'T Mule, and Willie Nelson. These experiences have not only sharpened my musical skills but also enhanced my ability to work under pressure and adapt to diverse environments.I am excited about the opportunity to bring my unique blend of musical talent, educational background, and managerial experience.
