Required to travel to existing, and potential client facilities to perform detailed surveys of existing lighting layouts. I would then meet with the job coordinators of our parent company to go over thoughts and ideas to reduce energy consumption, while maintaining a well lit work area. They would then bid the jobs accordingly. If we were granted the job, It was then my responsibility to safely and efficiently get the job accomplished. Most jobs were completed with a crew of around 10 men. I have been working with Illumetek, the parent company, for the last 15 years in one form or another. I am very comfortable handling large tasks, I have excellent people skills, I can diffuse most conflicts easily, and I am also very knowledgeable of the National Electric Code as it applies to commercial lighting. I am very good at troubleshooting. I can retrofit/ exchange any type of ballast very quickly. I also am very good at laying out and installing occupancy sensors and power packs.
