Head of Responsible Investments (RI) at Länsförsäkringar Liv (Life), the asset owner arm of the Swedish insurance company Länsförsäkringar. Part of Asset Management and responsible for LF Life's team of ESG analysts. Core responsibilities:o leading the RI approach for the Group’s life and non-life investment portfolios with AUM of SEK ~120 bn;o ESG integration in external manager selection and monitoring for our unit link platform (“fondförsäkring”) with +160 funds;o advising regional, non-life insurance companies on RI implementation and climate portfolio analysis. Core competence: o responsible investment and sustainable finance o corporate sustainability strategy and operationso ESG regulation and stakeholder management Day to day, ESG integration in asset allocation and application of RI strategies in investment decisions across asset classes in order to generate sustainable values - financial, environmental and social. Experience of RI implementation in listed equities, fixed income including sustainability bonds, private equity, private lending, property and forestry. Also involved in several international engagement initiatives such as Climate action 100 and Natue Action 100. During recent years devoted plenty of time to EU's regulatory package involving SFDR, taxonomy and CSRD. The approach to responsible investment and ESG management aim to reduce portfolio risks, support sustainable value creation and align the portfolios with the Paris agreement's 1,5 degree trajectory. Further, the aim is to demonstrate ESG impact for clients and showcase examples of sustainable investment. In external fund selection and monitoring for Länsförsäkringar's unit link platform we apply various ESG criteria and the ambition is to increase the number of sustainability focused funds. Previously, within PwC's sustainability team in the UK and Sweden (2013-17) I advised different types of institutional investors on RI implementation, conducted ESG due diligence and contributed to corporate sustainability strategies. At the UN-backed PRI (2009-13), I co-developed the first global responsible investment framework for investors. The framework defined RI strategies as well as best practices for ESG considerations across asset classes.Academic degrees: MSc Industrial Management and BM Public Health Sciences (Sustainable development concentration).
