Responsible for Customer Support, Business/Sales Engineers, Warehousing Operations, Demand Planning and System solutions in EMEA for SWEP. I manage a team of 4 manager and approx. 100 team members across Europe that support sales and manufacturing of brazed plate heat exchangers.

Full P&L responsibility for one of SWEP’s four business units with a global footprint, turnover of approx. €8.5M, a team consisting of 22 people and outsourced production. We provided energy transfer solutions predominately in Scandinavia and China. More than doubled EBIT and successfully drove divestiture process for the business - selling it to a Finnish company in 2023.

Manager of four departments at the Landskrona plant; Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Maintenance & Premises and Tool Shop. Responsible for a total staff of 47 people including four department managers and a budget of approximately 50MSEK (plus investments). Part of the plant management team, owner of the plant project portfolio and member of the global engineering management team. I was responsible for closing down and transferring 50% of SWEP Switzerland’s plant to Sweden.

I was responsible to start up and develop the new existing product development department at SWEP’s Landskrona plant with personnel and budget responsibility for a group of four people. The department’s focus was on development projects as well as minimizing product and process variation. Teaching lean manufacturing tools and leading improvement events as part of SWEP’s culture of continuous improvement program was also part of the role.

I had responsibility to evaluate, develop, contract and implement global packaging solutions at four plants and two warehouses. The result was reduced costs by 25%, reduced carbon footprint by 70 tones Co2, added value both for SWEP and the customers as well as a cross functional process for managing returnable packaging at all European plants and warehouses.

SWEP’s global trainee programs consist of three different segments, Research & Development, Operations and Sales & Marketing. During the trainee program I worked on different projects in Sweden, Poland and China concering process development, 5S, market studies and eBusiness.

The thesis consisted of improving the approach on how decisions are made when a new product is introduced in Alfa Laval’s global manufacturing. This includes developing a management tool to visualize alternatives, compile important aspects and display trade offs.
