I manage a team of technicians, who provide IT services, solutions and experiences for our clients at their events. This includes pre-event research and preparation, traveling onsite to deploy our services, providing support to event staff and attendees, and offering year round consultation as a technology partner.I designed and implemented a network and virtualization infrastructure for my team. This included virtual server administration, disaster recovery, deployment policies and maintenance.I oversee the management of 500+ computer systems that we maintain in our rental inventory. This requires choosing an inventory management system, performing regular updates, re-imaging and tracking of equipment across multiple locations and cities. I manage $750K in technology assets and direct $350K in capital spending.Some of my non-technical responsibilities, included participating in sales visits where I would offer a demonstration of our services, and provide technical consultation to future customers. I would also create estimates for service in response to RFPs. As a direct result of this effort I generate $100K of new IT service business annually.

I worked with clients to develop specifications for server requirements, imaged hardware, and ran a QC process, which included a burn-in on the equipment before shipment.I managed the helpdesk line, and provided remote support to our customers. This included managing the field technician schedule, tracking and escalating tickets to field technicians as needed.Occasionally I assisted with parts purchasing, and generating quotes to assist our lead sales rep.

As a field technician, I would visit our customers on a regular maintenance schedule, and respond to trouble tickets requiring an in-person technician. This was for small businesses, primarily dentist offices, who had contracted us as a managed service provider.
