Used Python together with in-house SPICE simulator in the loop for nonlinear least squares optimization and curve-fitting to obtain JFET compact model parameters. Supervised and directed full-custom silicon layout and wafer probe test development of an experiment on 300+ JFET variants.Full chip ownership as both technical design lead and project manager for linear precision amplifier product development. Mobilized the full complement of a product development team: design, layout, assembly, evaluation, test, applications, reliability, and logistics. I set up and executed verification test benches for precision linear amplifiers in bipolar processes. Variations in the fabrication process, supply voltage, temperature, parasitics, and loading conditions were accounted for by these test benches. Prior to tapeout, I ensured that the design will still perform within specifications when subject to varied conditions in the field. If any bugs were found, I immediately reported and proposed fixes to the designer.

Microelectronics and Microprocessors LaboratoryDesigned a magnetic field energy harvesting circuit in 65nm CMOS to power a sensor node mounted on a 23kV distribution line. This circuit takes advantage of the alternating magnetic field around a power line. It enables the sensor node to safely operate while the current in the power line is as low as 30 A, or as high as 530 A.Designed a PCB test board to validate the above CMOS chip. Uses a variable binary-weighted capacitor array to adjust parameters for testing. Automated parametric testing is synchronized with a Python script on a PC controlling an FPGA and various instruments via Ethernet and GPIB.

Responsible for setting up an Energy Star certification test laboratory.Operate the laboratory according to ISO 17025 quality system practices.Review new designs and advise engineers about product safety guidelines.Product safety testing.
