I have been working as a consultant with both large companies like Klarna and Bonnier and little mom and pop stores. Depending on both customers and what I’ve been striving to get better at, work have varied between project management, front-end and business development, UX and education. Although I still have this company up and running my main focus is Currics.

As a product owner I was responsible for what an amazing team was building. How would we maximise the value we produced and minimise the waste. I had a lot of use for my knowledge about business, UX and development. We were building Reacher, a sales system used by several companies and lots of their customers. With team members spread across Europe and a high pace project it was like working in a startup with the financial backing of a larger organisation.

Working at a startup on steroids constantly challenged me to get out of my comfort zone. As the head of web development and the inhouse bureau (at the same time) I did everything between recruiting and diving deep into code. This period will forever change what I view as possible and doable. The largest external project I personally managed was the migration of klarna.com from Joomla to Drupal which had a budget of about 850 000 SEK. I interviewed different production agencies, created requirements and had the authority to take almost every decision regarding the project. We completed that agile project on time and 950 SEK below budget.

My own consulting company. Extremely educative to run your own company. I searched for leads, contacted prospects, developed and followed up. Did a lot of mistakes which I consider deliberate practice in business. Apparently did some things right as well.
