I was category manager for the Non-food category within Nimatopaal AB and category manager for Service Articles within the Nic Group.Main responsibilities as Category Manager - Spotting trends - Spread knowledge about the Category structure across all Nic markets - Educate stakeholders - Category strategy - Part of the local NPD Group (Nimatopaal AB) - Harmonizing assortments and decrease SKUs across markets

The role included both operational as well as strategic procurement, both locally within Nimatopaal as well as globally within the Nic Group.Main responsibilities on local level (Nimatopaal AB): - Development and optimization of operational procurement activities and processes - Optimization of system usage - Initiate, maintain and develop supplier relationships - Stock control - Optimization of supply chain - Inbound logistics - Administration of Suppliers in Orkla's Food Safety quality systemMail responsibilities on global level (Nic Group) - Develop and implement structured procurement processes - Identify and operate projects across all markets (Project Management)Nimatopaal is part of the Nic Group, which is part of Orkla ASA’s business unit Orkla Food Ingredients (OFI).

Main assignments as a Consultant were similar to the assignments I had as an Analyst, see below. Yet, as a Consultant I was eligible for other roles and responsibilities, e.g. project management, negotiations and decision taking activities.

As an Analyst at Procure It Right my main assignments were: - Analyses of various kinds (e.g. spend, savings, agreement and business analyses), most of the time involving a lot of data as well as different parameters and input formats.- Collect data, conduct interviews and map processes to establish “as-is” - Create models in Excel and PowerPoint presentations- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders- Work in different systems, such as QlickView, QlickSense, M3, Palette, etc.- Negotiation support- Hold presentations for steering groups and lead other meetings and discussion forums- Exercise the basics within project and stakeholder management
