I am passionate about developing technologies that can help towards a sustainable society. In my PhD, I have worked on synthesis of zeolites which is a class of solids that show a high potential for many different sustainable processes. A focus in my PhD was on limiting the amount of chemical waste and avoiding the use of organics in the synthesis. I also worked on encapsulation of metal nanoparticles within these structures through novel synthesis approaches and tested these materials in catalytic reactions in both gas and liquid catalytic.A have a strong background in chemistry and both had courses and project within inorganic and organic chemistry. In my masters project I worked on zeolites and encapsulation of metal nanoparticles which was realted to primarily inorganic chemistry. In my bachelor project I worked on total synthesis of new antibiotics through synthetic organic chemistry. These different projects have given me knowledge within different fields of chemistry and allows me to draw on experience from both when working on chemistry problems.
