I moved to the Dallas area in September of 2015 from Lubbock, Texas to focus on beginning my career in general IT. I was hired by uBreakiFix in May of 2017 and was promoted to the store manager within 3 weeks. I was expected to teach not only myself, but also my staff how to repair all of the newest devices and technology with little to no training provided by the company at the time. In 2018 I began seeking employment with Asurion, a company I was already certified with and to take on a similar position working on Apple and Samsung devices. I quickly became the go-to source of info, not only my team, but also surrounding teams in my region. In April of 2021 I was promoted to a Technical Assistance Specialist position within Asurion, where I am now tasked with providing support for Apple and Samsung repairs for uBreakiFix and Asurion technicians across the country via phone support. I have completed CompTIA’s A+ certification training and will be certified through 11/2027.
